Snail race steps:

  1. Find some snails in your garden.

  2. Set up a race track (not too long as snails can be quite slow). You could make your finish line a circle to make it easier for the snails that go in different directions.

  3. Line your snails up on the race track, or if you’re using a circle, put them all in the middle of it.

  4. Make your guesses as to which snail will finish first. You could mark them with stickers, or spots of different coloured nail polish to tell them apart.

  5. See who crosses the finish line first (or reaches the outside of the circle first).

  6. Celebrate!
