Worm farms do not take up much room and are a fantastic way to turn your food waste into valuable fertiliser for your garden. A large proportion of our household waste is food waste. Many people assume that this waste will biodegrade in the landfill, but modern landfills cap waste to prevent leaching, which means that there is no air flow, and no microorganisms to biodegrade the waste.

Below are some signs that you might like to use for your worm farm. They explain what can and cannot go into it.
