Conservation Week 2025

The Taupō Environmental Education Collaborative has put together a fantastic line-up of local events happening around Taupō to celebrate Te Wiki o te Taiao | Conservation Week! Kick things off with a Greening Taupō community planting day at Hipapatua (Reids Farm), then lend a hand with the Wicked Weeders as they check over a native restoration site. Join Kids Greening Taupō and Taupō District Council for a special planting at Brentwood Gully, or bring your little ones to Toddler Time at Taupō Library for a freshwater themed story and craft with Heidi from KGT.

You can also enjoy the Discover Manu bird workshop with Forest & Bird, explore Kei Raro i te Moana at Taupō Museum, and wrap up with the much-loved Repair Café.
