Wetland Teacher Professional Development Workshop

We ran a teacher professional development workshop all about freshwater and wetlands with Nic from Waikato Enviroschools. We all had lots of fun bug hunting, and seeing what lived in and around the water. The teachers learnt all about ecosystems, catchments, water quality testing, whio, rivers, wetlands, invertebrates, and much more.

Thanks Nic for organising such a fun afternoon of learning and thanks Wairakei Pastoral for allowing us to use their grounds and buildings, and for also providing yummy kai!
