Take Photos of Nature
Capturing the beauty of nature in a photo can be a fun challenge! Seeing the beauty around you through the lens of a camera can make you look at things differently and notice small details that you might usually miss. We love taking photos of tiny things such as bugs and fungi that you might not see the beauty in due to their size. Once they are zoomed up on and made bigger, the colours and small details can be admired. Sometimes we even spot things that we didn’t notice were there at the time, such as tiny bugs inside the fungi. You can see the photos some of our students took on a fungi foray here and below. They learnt lots of tips from the photographer, one was that taking the photo from below the fungi, looking up at it, made it look a lot more interesting.
Pick up a camera, head out in nature, and take some nature photos that you can share with your friends, whānau and the wider community. Have fun!
