We are really proud of the service that we provide for local schools, ECE centres, and whānau. We employ two qualified teachers and an admin support person to provide environmental education, nature connection, and hands-on conservation opportunities to young people around the Taupō area. We work with 46 schools and ECE centres, from Reporoa to Tūrangi, and with over 130 young people through our extra-curricular student leadership programme. Our hundreds of website resources are available for teachers all over Aotearoa to use. All of this is provided for free, thanks to amazing funders and sponsors.

Like many non-profit community organisations right now, we’re navigating an increasingly challenging funding environment.  With several major funding agreements coming to an end this year, Kids Greening Taupō is at a pivotal point.  The impact of this programme is clear, and we are actively seeking partners to help secure its future and support its continued growth.  Community connections are key - if you know of any businesses or trusts who may be interested in supporting this work, we would love to hear from you.
